The first Essentia Mundi's release with Casian Stefan's debut of his own dark ambient project ABBILDUNG. It was quite a unique endeavor on the Romanian dark ambient scene back then.
This digital version is the unaltered version as it was on the CDR limited edition back in 2005.

The work of Wittgenstein (Tractatus mainly) is at stake here as the inlay info says: "There is the temptation for mystical interpretations out of the music; this is definitely pointless, this music work is my private point of view, the border between what this work says and what it shows is and it must be clear". And taking the music as a form of communication to be able to fully express itself.

Track by track about the "dark scientific circumstances":
1. Enter Abbildung Fundamentals (every thought, belief relies on neural training, the sounds here will train you about the end of mysticism, the rise of a new philosophy): "What can be said at all can be said clearly; and whereof one cannot speak thereof one must be silent." (L. Wittgenstein)
2. Antithesis (the eternal dualism, now unified): ad infinitum everything rises from nothing to finally be unified into nothing.
3. Sachverhalten (Dunkelheit Theme) (the atomic facts, wordless): the things are there, they do not need to be redefined by other symbols. After many tries to get a clear answer in words, the answer has been finally found: "We must find a rope..."
4. Dunkles Wissenschaftliches Sachverhalten (the rise from nothingness): nihilism through scientific method, science helps in this dark direction. There is only flesh that I see, chemical reactions and the interaction of the fundamental particles.
5. The Celebration Ritual Of Senseless Life Concept (return to nothingness): to realize the full circle, to worship "spira mirabilis", we will return to the shapeless form out of which we appeared. Every new star and solar system forms by falling into itself following a spiral trajectory.*
6. Akashic Record (seeds of everything): light is traversing so the universe stores a record of all that ever happened throughout the cosmos. Now also abbildung is recorded into the consciousness of the universe. The record is the zero-point field that underlies space and matter itself.
